Dr. Steve Runnels

Serving Gainesville for over 20 years.

Steve Runnels, D.C. worked in a steel foundry before realizing this job wasn’t what he wanted to do with his life. “My parents and grandparents always told me that if I didn’t want to have to work a day in my life, I should find a profession that incorporated my joys”.


Dr. Runnels' joys included a lifelong interest in weight lifting, sports and nutrition, this led him to investigate areas like kinesiology and physical therapy and chiropractic care.


To achieve his Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Runnels attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. While there, he was involved in athletics and learned how to restore people’s range of motion so they could function and not have to give up the sports they love to participate in.


Dr. Runnels has had practices in 3 different states over the last 21 years, 2 of which he is currently practicing in. Dr. Runnels has been in Cassville, MO for the last 17 years and Bentonville, AR for the last 5 years. He enjoys using his gifts to help people. Dr. Runnels especially enjoys working with athletes as he specialize in extremity adjusting.
